The $119 million construction bond passed by Camas School District voters in 2016 includes the remodeling and reopening of the historic Garver Theater, located at the corner of Northeast 15th Avenue and Northeast Garfield Street in Camas. Bids for the project recently came in $2 million over budget. School district staff are reviewing the project and alternative funding options and are expected to bring suggestions to the Camas School Board later this month.
