The annual event brings the community together to celebrate the holidays with “festive lights, joyful music and fun for the whole family,” according to a news release.

“(The event is a) cozy, hometown celebration full of twinkling lights, laughter and holiday cheer,” the news release states.

The evening will kick off with a tree lighting ceremony at 5 p.m., followed by a full lineup of activities, including live reindeer from Rainier Reindeer Ranch, cocoa, pictures with Santa Claus, and entertainment throughout downtown.

Visitors can also enjoy holiday shopping and dining with local merchants, many of whom will feature seasonal specials and in-store activities.
